SECRET-LEVEL- SIFU - concept sculpt exploration lookdev

While developing the look for the SIFU episode of the Secretlevelonprime Anthology I had the pleasure of working on at Digic pictures, among the different approaches there were some slightly more classic toony trends we had to develop.

Here are some digital concept sculpture i was working on, block out of the main characters based on the designs of Alvise Zennaro. My attention and try during sculpting these was on to catch the graphic looseness and clarity of his fantastic character drawings.

Later we went back closer to a semi realistic approach proportion wise( except in Li's case/the old lady/ ), but that direction was really a challenge and fun to play with.
